About the Jason Lynn Foundation

The Jason Lynn Foundation was founded in July, 2005 by Ron and Vicki Lynn and their son Brad in memory of Jason Lynn. Jason, Vicki's & Ron's youngest son, was killed at the age of 27 on May 25, 2005 by a drunk driver.

One week after Jason's funeral, the family retreated to Seaside, FL. The family had been praying for a sign that Jason was okay and in Heaven. During their time in Seaside they were fortunate to meet Ms. Amy Grant. Ms. Grant was performing a concert to benefit The Light House Family Retreat .

After speaking with Ms. Grant and attending her performance (in which she dedicated the song "Missing You" to Jason) the family was so touched that they knew they were being called to service. Knowing how Jason loved children, the family started The Jason Lynn Foundation.
The Jason Lynn Foundation is dedicated to helping children and natural wildlife. In October, 2005 the Foundation held its 1st Annual Charity Golf Tournament which raised over $25,000. Portions of the proceeds were donated to The Light House Family Retreat and to Hurricane Katrina Relief. Future events will be held to continue to support The Lighthouse Family Retreat as well as other programs which will also include helping to fund wildlife habitats on the Alabama Gulf Coast.
